Lizanne’s Blog…..

From April this year I will have a polytunnel bursting with bulbs and seedlings ready for the season.

Do you really want to buy supermarket flowers that have been brought half way around the world? Or do you realise that your local florist will be importing flowers from Europe up to three times a week…. Would locally sourced ones be a better option? Thoughts…….?

I will be able to supply strong and healthy flowers and foliage from April through to October. This year I have tulips, alliums moving onto pinks, sweet peas, nigella, cerinthe, cosmos and then on to delphinium, larkspur and dahlia. I have also planted a great selection of foliage plants including many grasses which will enhance the floral display.

My colour palette throughout the year is white, green, pink, purple and mauve with soft and airy foliage.
